Pure Power Tech is proud to announce its partnership with the University of New South Wales (UNSW) under the Trailblazer for Recycling and Clean Energy (TRaCE) initiative. This AUD 875,000 research project focuses on developing scalable, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly seawater batteries for residential energy storage applications.

Running from 2024 to 2027, the project aims to achieve a 10kWh capacity system, reducing energy costs to below AUD 50 per kWh while addressing the global residential storage market worth over USD 170 billion. By commercializing seawater battery technology, this collaboration underscores Australia’s leadership in sustainable energy solutions, supporting decarbonization goals and fostering circular economy practices.

Pure Power Tech and UNSW look forward to bringing this cutting-edge innovation to homes worldwide.
